Well there is some reason that has made me writing this post...Something happening in the country has raised a lot of questions in my mind? There is cliche that India is called the largest democracy in the world...I would call a cargo cult democracy.From kindergartens we have been taught democracy is for the people, by the people and of the people but the sad part is people here are considered as only politicians....What kind of democracy are we talking about...?? A democracy where dinosaur like Arjun Singh can ruin an education system..or people fight for reservations and disrupting human lives...A democracy or an autocracy where the country was ruled by Britishers and after independence its Gandhi dynasty....
I have realized that freedom is more important than independence.There is no freedom for common man in india..no freedom for thought or expression, nor freedom to aspire to greatness, nor freedom from the ravages of endemic corruption...India is always busy in global language lecturing in moral and ethical values.It falls to its own prey..The country excels in perpetuating the most ridiculous system ever invented: A chimera that combines all the vices of Communism and Capitalism and none of the virtues.
We have a best example where a dictator like Narendra Modi can transform the worst performing state into one of the best performing state in India within a decade. Its my view that we need a democracy where the control rests more on the leaders rather than a group of poilitcians which simply leads to a chaos like Nuclear Deal.
There is no democracy in india other than a strange beast that has the paraphernalia and form, but not the substance of rule of, by and for the people. Instead it is of, by and for the politicians, who is only interested in self-achievements.

my opinion would differ from yours... i strongly feel that Democracy of India is one of the things that i will always cherish... no politican can really elect himself in.. it is WE who elect them!.. By WE, i mean all voters who are beneficiaries or potential beneficiaries of his policies, & ppl who are not beneficiaries and do not VOTE ... Arjun singh gets elected because ppl support him (may be because of illiteracy or myopic benefits).. same goes with Narendra Modi.. he is not a dictator.. he is given powers by public to dictate because he works For People.. and if he doesnt work in a right way in next 4.5 years, he wil be uprooted By People and there is nothing that NaMo can do about it...
